Flint and Genesee County Area Karaoke Guide. I'm 95 percent sure that all the Bars and clubs with Karaoke are listed below. I have even decided to add some from the just over the county line.

Ted's rule for Karaoke Contests. If the contest requires a entry fee. There is some type of Scam to it. Ie, the winner is predetermined to be a friend of the host and the winnings are going to be split between them. I had to see it to believe it. When the last one I was in, the "Winner" Couldn't hit the notes of the song he was singing, actually didn't even sing many of the words to the song then ended up winning.  It's one thing when your putting on a show and pull the wool over the judges eyes because your performance was good. It's another when everybody in the contest and audience knew they just plain screwed up.

If you find any errors Please let me know so I can update this list.

Personal note: It's amazing I do this and ask for no advertising or compensation for making it simpler for people to find karaoke in the area, and the Management of many of these places are adversarial about getting information about their clubs so I can list it online.

Amazing I walk in 2 minutes after someone else. Only got skipped once but he said he doesn't really have a rotation... I guess this means you've got to be one of his friends. I like that he allows people to sing in a regular rotation of dance music and singers. But he doesn't really keep singers in a rotation. His words not mine. So one never knows how long it will be going. WOW I went to JAMMIN's Found all his former karaoke night customers there. (Sshhh Don't tell him but many of his employees were there also.) If he'd just let Johnny do his job He'd keep people there. Let's put it like this. If he has 10 people there to sing and 5 walk in. Whether they ask for it or not.. The owner will stop karaoke and make the host play dance music. I don't understand the rhyme or reason. But it's his bar. One more person sang (not me of course) and decided it was time for dance music. Never finished my beer and Never been back.  OK Tried again. Advertising nightly Karaoke then go in with a friend, Order some beer and they aren't doing Karaoke, Talked to the Bartender. Maybe try again another day.  6/30/10 Well I finally made it to Karaoke here. Was pretty good. Sound was better than most. Excellent selection. Seems to up to date and even got old stuff No one else has. Not a lot of singers. But the night went by quickly.  I would recommend going there. Was well worth the it.
